Fridge repair tip #5 - Refrigerator trips power.
It can sometimes be like looking for a needle in a haystack with this fault.
The two most common causes of the problem are a shorted defrost heater or a compressor shorted to earth.
In either case you would need an insulation tester to check the components.
Fridge repair tip #6 - Knife hole in cooling plate.
Uh-Ohh real bad, and no chewing gum and blu-tac™ won't fix this!
Switch the fridge off ASAP and call your local fridge repairer for any chance to redeem the fridge.
Fridge repair tip #7 - Leaking water.
As long as the fridge is not connected to your mains water for ice and water this should only be a simple problem.
The fault is most likely a blocked drain or a hole in a drip tray.
If you can see the drain hole, you may be able to clear the blocked drain by using a pipe cleaner or some such thing. To help keep the drain clear, pour half a cup of cleaning vinegar down the drain every couple of months.
